Father’s day is coming, on this father’s day take time to really think about all the great things your father has done for you.  Here are some prayers for Father’s day.

Father’s Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Bless all fathers in this world.  Guide them to be good role models, care takers and to love their children.  Help them to be a father in Your image.  Grant them the grace, patience and wisdom to handle situation in a loving way.

Prayer for Traveling (or far away) Father’s

Dear Lord,

Please watch over our father who is away from us now.  Keep him safe in his travels and guide him until we see him again.  Let him know that we love him and await his return.

Father’s Day Prayer for the Deceased.

Dear Lord,

We pray for all the fathers on this day, especially those who have gone before us.  These were great men who did so much for us.  Lord, please comfort the fathers who are no longer with their families and the families who miss them as we remember them on this day.
