To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Receive the Wisdom By Which to Carry Our Cross

Let us pray that we may understand the blessings of His Word. Heavenly Father, You are the source of all wisdom. We pray You will guide us in understanding so we may live by the wisdom of Your truth and the blessings of Your love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us wisdom by which we may discern all which is right and just.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will guide us so we may share the meaning and truth of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will bring the faithful together so we may work in concert against the designs of the evil one.

Dear Lord, we pray You will move hearts so we will accept one another in love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see through the temptations of the evil one so we may live according to Your holy plan.

Dear Lord, help us to see what separates us from You so we may cast it away.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage and strength by which we may pick up our cross and follow You.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will be guided in how we may work in support of the plan of our Creator. Heavenly Father, You ask us to care for one another and to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We pray You will grant us the wisdom by which we may understand how You ask us to lead our lives, how we may live in love and peace, and how we may share the blessings of Your Holy Word. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
