Prayers In Thanks for the Coming of Our King
Let us pray in thanks and praise for the coming of our King. Heavenly Father, You sent to us the Word made flesh so we might receive the full revelation of Your Holy Word. He walked with us and taught to us. Many rejoiced within His presence, yet there were many who did not comprehend what was unfolding before them and so they rejected Him. We pray every heart may be opened to recognize the blessings of what You desire for us to learn so all might rejoice in the light of Your Word. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Lord, we pray you will help us learn and comprehend what You desire for us to know.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for those You have sent to teach us.
Dear Lord, we pray that Your Word shall guide us all the waking hours of our day.
Dear Lord, help us to learn how to approach the battles with the evil one.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent for our salvation.
Dear Lord, we rejoice that we might receive within our hearts the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise that You sent Your Son, not only to be the King of the Jews, but the King of all the children of Your creation.
For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will recognize the One who was sent so we might learn. Heavenly Father, the people greeted Your Son in throngs with palms and cheers of joy, yet there were also those who plotted against Him. We pray You will help us to see the blessings of His light and lead us in how we might turn the hearts which are set against Him so they, too, shall find the joy and salvation He works to bring to every soul. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
