I don\'t put up a Christmas tree every year but that\'s mainly because I am a single person, can\'t afford one, and don\'t really have the room for one. Plus, there would be no presents under my tree each year because I am too poor to buy presents for anyone.

Ave,

For several years I lived in a one room apartment, but I had a small artificial tree. It was a tree my parents gave to me when I left home. It had a single string of lights, only 25 small lights, but I would plug them in and turn out the lights in my room, so I could watch the lights on my little tree and listen to Christmas carols on my radio.

Like you, I could not afford to buy any presents to put under my tree; there really wasn\'t any room anyway, but I did find it a comforting reminder of the Christmas season.

I really was not strong in spirit then, but I did find my way to church, although I must confess it was because of a friend who invited me. Still, whatever drew me there, I came to realize, it was not the tree, but the man who died for me that truly comforted my soul.

I pray that though you may not have room for a tree, that you feel the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the great blessings of the Lord.

Merry Christmas and many blessings to you,
Prayer Soldier

Every Christmas me and my family gather from all over the country to put up a Christmas tree and celebrate. We have high ceiling, so usually we get a tall tree and the decoration of it takes some time(fun spent time).
