“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another.” (1 John 4:7-11)
There will be those who come to us professing love, but their actions will be for other purposes. This will be the way of the false prophet. The will speak words of all matters of what we might hope to believe, but the true test is if they believe in the only begotten Son of God. If they believe in the Son, the Son will be in them as the Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son. If they are blessed with the holy Spirit, then, they will seek to fulfill His commandments. Love will be found in their works and forgiveness in their ways as they too seek forgiveness for their sins.
The false prophet will profess all matters of faith and love, but their actions will fall short, they will not worship the Lord in love, but will use His name in vain. They will acknowledge Jesus by many names, but they will not call Him Lord and Savior.
“When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.” (Mark 6:34)
There will be false prophets who profess to be teachers, but they will not be able to teach with the wisdom and love of our true Lord and Savior. The false ones will cause excitement, they will lure many with deceitful words, but because of what fills them, their works will eventually reveal them.
From the Lord we were taught the true meaning of love and forgiveness, the true meaning of the mercy and grace of God. He taught us that to be like Him, we must serve one another. As the Master of His disciples, He washed their feet. His message was for all the children of God, not to enslave them, but to free them from sin, for if they follow His commandments to love God and love one another, there will be no room for corruption, the will be no room for oppression, there will be true joy and peace in selflessness and caring through works of love great and small.
Blessed are those who seek to follow that which He taught, for in living His Word, they bring many blessings to others; they bring praise and glory to the Lord. Blessed are the true teachers of the Word as they bring the good news of the Lord to souls who are searching, souls who need healing, souls who will raise generations to follow. Blessed will be the day when all come together to live in the grace and love of the Word of the Lord.
May the peace and blessings of the Lord be with you always,
Prayer Soldier
