Many blessings to all,
We may observe with awe the works of the most talented, those who make the difficult look easy. We are amazed at gifted actors, singers, athletes, artisans, tradesmen and academics. If we look around the world, so great are the works of man, yet, they cannot compare with the works of God. Though all of our talents are granted to us by God, we do not always use our gifts for His purpose, rather, we seek to live by our own design.
As we turn from God, we turn from the One who seeks to see His children live in love and peace. In our own attempts at wisdom, though, misery, conflicts and wars spread through the world. Where selfish desires consume our hearts, we contribute to the designs of the evil one and sin consumes us. Though our sin disappoints our Creator, He still gave us the greatest gift of His only begotten Son so that we might not parish, but may still find our way to heaven through Him. Through prayer, we should seek Him and thank Him for his grace and mercy. Through prayer, we should seek the wisdom of His love so that we may know peace within our day.
Dear Lord, we pray that You forgive us of our wrongs as we forgive those who do wrong against us.
Dear Lord, we pray that You guide us away from temptation and lead us to the light of Your path.
Dear Lord, we pray that the deceptions of the evil one are revealed so that Your children are not led astray.
Dear Lord, we pray for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit so that we understand how we may best fulfill the commandments of love.
Dear Lord, we pray that you protect us from sin and from every evil of our day.
Dear Lord, we offer praise and worship in thanks for the grace of forgiveness that You offer all who follow in the name of Your only begotten Son.
Dear Lord, we pray for all souls that we may be purified of our sins so that we may all be brought together into the peace and joy of heaven.
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
In conclusion, just as through one transgression condemnation came upon all, so through one righteous act acquittal and life came to all. For just as through the disobedience of one person the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of one the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:12, 18-19)
May the Lord be with you always,
Prayer Soldier
