Anonymous writes " COLORADO SPRINGS - On the weekend of 18-19 Jun 2011, Dr. Alveda King came to Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado to support the Juneteenth celebration. While there, she also responded to a request by St. Dominics to speak to parishioners. Dr. King took the opportunity to educate the parishioners as to the history of Juneteenth, which is a celebration of the end of slavery in America, and what she has termed, “the next civil rights issue” – abortion.
As Dr. King began to speak, she related that though she is not catholic, she is a Pastoral Associate and the Director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life. She displayed the Priests for Life web site and pointed out the information resources there to include the African-American Outreach section.
As Dr. King continued, she asked how many have heard that her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, supported Planned Parenthood. Several hands went into the air. Dr. Alveda King then began to set the record straight. She told the audience that Planned Parenthood tried to tie her uncle to a speech he never wrote and a speech he never gave. Dr. King pointed out the section of the Priests for Life web site where she dissected a brochure issued by Planned Parenthood and outlines how her uncle could not have supported Planned Parenthood. As a challenge to Planned Parenthood, Dr. King wrote, “Planned Parenthood, stop using my uncle to promote your injustice!”
Dr. King also related, “I was tricked and duped by Planned Parenthood myself.” She continued, “Had it not been for the mercy of the Lord, I would have still been living in the darkness.” She also related the story of a former Director of Planned Parenthood, Abbey Johnson, who after seeing an ultrasound of an abortion said, “I can't do this any more.” The examples Dr. King gave were what she referenced as the “redemptive work of the cross and the love of God.” Dr King said, “We don't hate those who are doing these things, we actually hate the devil who is behind it.”
Dr. King spoke of her parents and her uncle. Dr. King said, “I grew up in the beloved community where we talked about we are all one human race and this message is part of our King family legacy.” Dr. King outlined that the “separate race concept” came from the concept of “divide and conquer.” Dr. King explained that “racism is part of a big lie.” She continued, “If Satan can keep us believing that we are not one human race, one family, we are in big trouble.” She pointed out how we all come from one blended ancestry. She further cited Acts 17:26 from the King James Version, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,...” She emphasized we are all one blood, created by God.
Dr. King turned to the agenda of eugenicists, which included the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. For a comprehensive history, Dr. King recommended viewing the movie “Maafa21.” Maafa 21 is a documentary of the eugenics solution and the racial targeting by Planned Parenthood against minorities. Dr. King also showed the trailer for the film “Blood Money.”
According to the Blood Money web site, “We take a critical look into the dark origins of abortion, and return with a deeply disturbing picture: how a movement based on racism and population control usurped the momentum of the women’s rights movement to create something truly despicable– a multi-billion dollar industry that literally thrives on the destruction of unborn babies and the traumatizing of young pregnant women.”
The web site continues, “It’s not about hearsay. It’s not about political bias. We went right to the historical documents and got it from their own lips. We went directly to the women involved in the cases that made abortion legal. We went directly to abortion clinic owners. We spoke directly with women who’d had multiple abortions, and we let them paint the picture of how the industry really works.” The film was narrated by Dr. King.
Dr. King also brought up the web site for the National Black Prolife Coalition which is another organization devoted to expose the deceptions of Planned Parenthood and its efforts to target the African-American community. As she continued, Dr. King spoke about how many politicians, to include African-American leaders “sold out” to Planned Parenthood. Dr. King explained how Planned Parenthood came to politicians and said, “What about women's rights? We need someone to speak out for us. If you run for president, we'll back you.” Dr. King related that in the name of women's rights, they “stopped talking about human rights, to include babies in the womb.”
When asked why there is so much support in Congress for Planned Parenthood, Dr. King responded, “Planned Parenthood has backed all these campaigns, given them money.” Dr. King continued, “If anything, they are so terribly slick.”
Dr. King explained that Planned Parenthood has a program called, “comprehensive sex education.” She said they say they will teach abstinence, but “from a comprehensive approach.” Dr. King continued to explain how the request is for a grant to teach the comprehensive program, but, just in case abstinence fails, condoms must be included in the program. If the condoms fail, then, Planned Parenthood says, “Please bring them to us so they can have a safe abortion.”
As Dr. King concluded, she advised, “We encourage you to spiritually accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior for real, and seek God first in all that you do, and then, be healthy, be educated, be committed to your families, serve your community, all of this really goes together.”
