To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers He Will Lift Our Burdens

Let us pray that He will lift our burdens. Heavenly Father, Your Holy Son told us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, but too often we choose to wear the millstone of sin. We pray You will help us see how we may turn to the lighter burden. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One sent to deliver us from evil.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in how we may prevail over all wickedness.

Dear Lord, we pray You will deliver us from the burdens of sin.

Dear Lord, we pray that You strengthen our spirit so we may stand strong in faith.

Dear Lord, we pray Your Holy Spirit will dwell within our hearts so we may defeat every evil.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up those who will lead the people in all which is right and just.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us in all endeavors of civility, compassion, charity, and love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, that He will help us grow in faith. Heavenly Father, the evil one lurks so that he may separate us from You. We pray You will protect us and guide us so that we may turn away from the burdens of sin and take on the easy yoke of Your commandments of love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
