To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Remain Alert and Prepared For His Coming

Let us pray that on the day of His coming, we shall be alert and prepared so we shall not be left in the darkness. Heavenly Father, You have spoken to the nations and the generations with the blessings of grace, mercy, and love. We pray You will help us to learn and guide us to how we may live, not only so we may receive Your blessings, but so we may share of Your blessings with all who cross our path. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in Your holy ways.

Dear Lord, we pray for Your forgiveness for the times we have strayed away from Your light.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the mercy and grace You offer to us.

Dear Lord, we humbly pray in thanks for the many ways You work to enrich our souls.

Dear Lord, in our weakness, we pray for the blessings of Your protection.

Dear Lord, we pray for the courage, strength, and endurance by which we may remain alert for the day of Your coming.

Dear Lord, we pray You will speak to our hearts and guide us in what we may do to help fulfill Your will.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will watch, be alert, and be prepared for the day of His coming. Heavenly Father, though we are not worthy, You blessed us with the Light of the world. We pray You will continue to encourage us away from the darkness so we might share in the blessings we may receive only through Your light. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
