To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers in Thanks for the Blessings of Baptism

Let us pray in thanks for the One sent to cleanse our heart. Heavenly Father, You have given us baptism so that we may be cleansed of sin. We pray You accept our thanks and praise for those You have sent before us so we may see the path to Your kingdom. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for those You send to help us learn of Your ways.

Dear Lord, we pray that all may learn of Your justice and the blessings of caring for one another.

Dear Lord, we pray You accept our thanks and praise for guiding us in how we may cleanse our soul.

Dear Lord, we pray You guide the leaders of our land to the the path of truth and justice.

Dear Lord, we pray that as You sent Your only begotten Son to teach us, that You grace our heart with the Holy Spirit to guide us through each day.

Dear Lord, we pray, that as we receive Your baptism, we will be led away from the temptations of sin.

Dear Lord, we pray that as we are anointed through our baptism and we invite the Holy Spirit into our heart, we will be guided to perform the works of charity and love to which You call us.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we walk our daily lives, we are guided in the blessings of His Word. Heavenly Father, we ask that as we see the example made for us by Your Holy Son, You will grant us strength to share in what He teaches us and that to which our baptism calls us. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
