With a line, a squiggle, a swirl...
Author: Julie A. Petras
With only a large sheet of paper (or a dry-erase board, chalkboard, or overhead projector), a marker, and Draw and Tell Sacraments, you can easily share with your students - your children or grandchildren - what the Catholic Church teaches about the seven sacraments.
As you read a story about someone who is receiving a sacrament, you draw a line, put in a squiggle, add a swirl. (The book tells you when!) By the end of the tale, your final picture shows a symbol of that sacrament.
- No artistic talent is needed (Really!)
- The wording and names used in each story are easily adapted to fit the age and background of the children
- Each sacrament has two stories: the scriptural reference and a contemporary portrayal.
