Can we imagine someone pandering for our death though we have committed no crime and did absolutely nothing wrong? Can we imagine someone counseling our mother that we should die and we could say nothing in our own defense? We might think it is the plot of some unfortunate horror movie, however, the reality is this scenario is the result of the profession of those who operate Planned Parenthood.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the total infant deaths in 2009 was 26,200. According to Planned Parenthood reports for the same year, Planned Parenthood alone was responsible for the deaths of 332,278 children conceived, but not yet born. This means that with more than five million documented abortions to their credit, thanks to Planned Parenthood, the most dangerous place for a child in America is in their mother's womb, especially should she find her way into a Planned Parenthood clinic.
While Planned Parenthood reports that abortion accounts for only 3% of its activities, according to a 23 Feb 11 American Life League (ALL) media release, Planned Parenthood is estimated to receive 40% of its income from what it charges for abortion. The American Life League also points out that in comparison to the 332,278 surgical and medical abortions conducted by Planned Parenthood in 2009, it provided prenatal services to only 7,021 women and referred 977 for adoption services. The media release stated, “These numbers were a 25 percent drop in prenatal care clients and a whopping 59 percent decline in adoption referrals.” The release continues, “Planned Parenthood now does 340 abortions for every one adoption referral and 47 abortions for every one prenatal care client.”
Considering such statistics, we might ask ourselves, where would we be today if Planned Parenthood had talked to our mother? What about our sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, granddaughters or grandsons; where would they be? Despite what Planned Parenthood says, their numbers clearly demonstrate what they do. While we survived “choice,” over five million did not.
