- What we do or don't do impacts others. No matter what we do, it will have an impact. When we do not act it will have an impact. In our existence, the combination of what we do or fail to do determines our relationship to sin; the combination of what we do or fail to do determines our relationship to our Saviour. We have the choice of action, we have the choice of inaction. We have the choice of sin. We have the choice of salvation.

- We may have many things of the world, but we may still be in poverty. What do we gain if we satisfy all the desires of the flesh, yet, have no understanding of the Holy Spirit, the grace of God, the joy of His Love and His peace. How many ways do we leave ourselves in poverty when we only seek to satisfy the desires of this world? Is wealth of the moment worth eternal poverty?

- In what ways do we need to be rescued? We may often think we must be rescued from the stress and trials of this world. We often pray to be delivered from an immediate tragedy, but do we pray for the ultimate rescue? Do we pray to be rescued from the wages of sin? Do we know how God has already reached out to rescue us? Are we willing to be rescued?

- Dear Lord, help me to understand what I may do to further Your will. Help me to understand how I may be closer to You. Help me to shed the useless desires of this world that I may know Your love and peace, that I may know Your grace, that I may be filled with the blessings of the Holy Spirit. Help me to understand what you have done to rescue me and how I may reach out to be rescued by You.
