Many blessings to all,
God has built within each of us a purpose. He has granted us different forms of gifts so that we are unique in what we may do, we are unique in how we live within the community of the children of God. We may have the same gifts as others, but we are unique in the mixture of gifts we each have been given.
We often think of gifts in terms of something special, something we can do better than others; instead, we should think of our gifts as to the purpose and meaning we are able to provide to others. To some, we are granted the ability to sing, others the ability to listen, yet others, the ability to play the instrument of melody or harmony. Even in our afflictions, we are granted gifts, for in our tribulation, we may provide inspiration which may uplift others, when, through faith, we are able to rise to the challenge. We do not know until we try, we may not understand when it seems at times we fail, we may not understand to what end we are called to use our gifts, we do not truly know unless we ask He who has granted the gifts, for what purpose, dear Lord, have You formed me in this world.
Through prayer we can find the answer. Will you say these simple prayers with me?
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help us to see into our own hearts and help us find the capability to love You have placed within each of us.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, we thank You for the many blessings You give through the gifts and talents You give each person.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help us share our gifts for the common good and to fulfill Your commandment to love one another as You love us.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, I pray for the wisdom to help others understand Your good news.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, grant us wisdom to understand that what worldly things we gain today passes away, but what we sow in others passes on.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, You are by me in my troubles, You are by me in times of joy. Thank you for being by me always.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the guardian angels you send and the many ways you bless my life.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
May the Lord be with you always,
Prayer Soldier
