To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers for the Generations

Let us pray in thanks for what has been taught to the generations. Heavenly Father, Your Son taught those who witnessed how they may pray. We pray in thanks that they have passed this instruction through the generations. We ask that just as You guided the generations past, You will guide us as well, so that we will fulfill our responsibilities to the generations to come. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray that the just may be strengthened to lead the generations to Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray that every soul may be delivered from temptation and evil.

Dear Lord, we pray that You accept our thanks and praise for the salvation You have offered us through Your Son.

Dear Lord, we pray that every parent will guide their children in love to the blessing of Your Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks for the blessings You bring to our paths each day.

Dear Lord, we pray that every expectant mother will understand what gifts they may offer the generations through the life You placed within them.

Dear Lord, we pray that You help us bless those around us so we may fulfill Your commandment to love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we walk our daily journey, that we will have the strength to leave behind our sin and that we will walk as an example for the generations to follow. Heavenly Father, to each generation You have given the responsibility to raise the next. We pray that You guide us in our journey so that Your will be done. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
