The Signs About Us:

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you." He said to them in reply, "An evil and unfaithful generation seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights." (Matthew 12:38-40)

So many seek proof of God because they fail to see the forest for the trees. They look about themselves and profess that all exists and because it does, there is no need for a Creator. Despite what they see, they are blind as to who created that which is. The design of our existence is wondrous and complex, yet many cannot see His work in motion. So many do not know Him because they either choose to remain blind to Him or are unable to interpret what they observe.

We should consider all which God has done to communicate with mankind, yet so many prefer their blindness. He has sent His angels, His prophets and even His only begotten Son, but there are those who demand even greater signs than these. Is it not enough to ponder all the intricacies of the laws of physics which enable life? Are we to believe that all which is just happened to be with no designer? If we desire proof of God, we need only examine the complexities, wonders and beauty of that which we are and that which surrounds us.

Blessed are those who observe His creation, for they will find His fingerprints all about them.
