How to Make a Novena to St. Jude: St. Jude is the patron saint of anyone in need, especially in seemingly hopeless or impossible cases. Making a novena to St. Jude means praying for a special request for nine days. Find a quiet place to pray, and light candles if you wish. Then say the prayer on the back of this card. Trust that God will answer your prayer: either with some concrete change in the situation; through renewed strength and serenity; or by realizing later that God fulfilled your need in a different way than anticipated.
