Dear Reader,

What lies ahead is a sample of a story that was written about the final battle in Baghdad Iraq. This story is a testament to the free will in the hearts of men that is still alive in the American Soldier.

The battle was a classic example of good versus evil. The insurgency in Iraq was determined at all costs to take control of the city and eliminate as many Americans as possible along the way. This did not happen, they failed dearly.

What you will see is just a glimpse of the miracles that took place in the deadly hot streets of Baghdad. The book is filled with the accounts of heroic deeds and insurmountable odds that my men and I faced on a daily basis. It's a dedication to the fallen brethren of our unit, a tribute to freedom itself.
