The book describes how, as an evangelical Protestant, I rejected tradition and held to the principle of "scripture alone" as the foundation of religious authority. But this principle crumbled in the face of attacks from modernist scholars who reject Christian doctrine and the authority of the Bible.

This book chronicles how, at first reluctantly, then with growing excitement, I discovered that Tradition as expressed by the Catholic Church is the only guarantee of the truth of the revelation of Jesus Christ.
