How lonely it must have felt? How abandoned you and Joseph must have been during the severe,cold weather? Yet, you were in peace and filled with the spirit of love as you gave birth to the infant Savior amidst His creatures and His shepherds.

In among the poorest of the poor, you, O blessed Mother, found the treasure of all treasures. Deprived of much, you found all!
