V2ALIVE Mission Statement

The Vatican II Council brought about many changes in the Catholic Church. Along with these changes came many new and different types of sacred music for use in the Catholic Mass and other liturgical functions. Music became more accessible, was sung in the vernacular, and began to celebrate many cultures and traditions. The choral group, V2ALIVE, is a Colorado-based group that strives to perform the best of the new Catholic music resulting from Vatican II, while also preserving the best of tradition Catholic music.
