To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you,

Prayers We May See What Is In Our Hearts

Let us pray that as we face the world, we will be part of the light of love. Heavenly Father, it is the hearts of hate which form the armies of evil, but it is the hearts of indifference which allow evil to take its thrown over the world without contest. We pray You will help the faithful to see how they may combat the forces of darkness so all may experience the light of peace. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we rejoice at the coming of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Dear Lord, help us to see the ways we may pave the way for our King and make straight in the wasteland a highway to God.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to teach us Your holy Word.

Dear Lord, we bow in humility in thanks for the One who humbled Himself as an example of the love to which You call us.

Dear Lord, help us to see what You have enabled each of us to do to help fulfill Your plan.

Dear Lord, help us to turn from the temptations which cause us to betray You and one another.

Dear Lord, we give humble thanks for the sacrifice made for us so we might receive salvation.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will see the blessings of the example given to us from the cross. Heavenly Father, Your Son turned Himself over to those who would put Him on the cross, knowing what was in the hearts which surrounded Him; those who weeped, those who were indifferent, those who jeered, and those who sought His death. We pray You will help us to see what is in our hearts so we may turn away from the darkness and endeavor to live by the example given to us by the One You anointed as the King of kings and Lord of lords. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
