To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We, Too, May Have the Holy Spirit Breathed on Us

Let us pray that we, too, may have the Holy Spirit breathed upon us. Heavenly Father, as Your Holy Son rose to sit at Your right hand, He promised that He would not leave us orphans, but send an Advocate who will remind us of all which He taught. We pray that every soul may receive and be guided by the blessings of the Holy Spirit. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the blessings we receive through those You send to cross our path.

Dear Lord, guide our hearts to the work You would have us do for the blessings of those who surround us.

Dear Lord, we pray that every soul may be led to understand the blessings we may share when we approach one another with civility, compassion, caring, and love.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to help us understand the blessings of living by Your commandments.

Dear Lord, as we battle the darkness which endeavors to enslave us, it is You who sets us free.

Dear Lord, though they thought You dead, as You appeared to them, You brought to them the blessings of peace and the Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord, we pray You will breath the Holy Spirit upon all Your faithful.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will be guided so we may turn from the path of death and walk the path of eternal life. Heavenly Father, too often we fear as evil seems unfettered in this world. We pray that all may see the blessings of love so we may prepare for the day You will call us to gather in Your holy kingdom where love is shared by all and evil is not allowed to follow. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
