To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We Are Guided In Our Purpose

Let us pray God will help us see His desire for us. Heavenly Father, You created each of us for a purpose within Your plan, but we too often fail to hear Your call. We pray, dear Lord, You will lead us and guide us so we may fulfill Your purpose for us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us discern the purpose for which You created us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us hear and respond to Your call.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may perform the work You desire of us.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for all You teach us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us follow Your example to do the will of our Heavenly Father.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to answer, with truth, those who accuse unjustly.

Dear Lord, we pray You will lead us in how we may share the blessings brought to us through Your Holy Word.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be attentive to the purpose for which God created us. Heavenly Father, the noise of the world distracts us and our selfishness seduces us to what is evil. We pray You will help us see through the deceptions and turn away from evil temptations so that our heart is open and able to accomplish that to which You call us. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
