To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Receive The Holy Spirit

Let us pray we may receive the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, as You brought Your Holy Son back to You, because of Your love for the children of Your creation, You sent another advocate, the Holy Spirit, to testify in our hearts to both Your truth and wisdom. We pray the Holy Spirit will dwell within us and guide us in the many ways we may share the blessings of the love to which You call us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable our hearts to hear clearly Your voice.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in how we may enable others to open their hearts to You.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to communicate with one another to enable our common understanding of all which is right and just.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help our children to see clearly the vocations to which You call them so that Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will guide our good shepherds so they may bring Your flock to You so that You may bring us to our Heavenly Father.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will dwell within us and instruct our hearts in the ways we may share the blessings of love.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit shall descend on every heart so Your light shall shine throughout the world.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall see that to which the Holy Spirit guides us. Heavenly Father, over and over You have sought to teach the generations the blessings of love. Over and over, the generations have failed to comprehend what is possible through living Your Holy Word. We pray Your Holy Spirit will lead us away from the darkness in which we wander so we may all share in the blessings of the love to which You call us. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
