To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Know the Time to Learn and to Serve

Let us pray we shall understand the time and purpose to which we should put our endeavors. Heavenly Father, we cannot act properly if we first do not learn. We pray You will help us understand the work You ask us to perform and the time You desire we accomplish it. We pray also, dear Lord, that You will also help us to know the time during which You desire for us to listen to Your truth and all which You teach, so we may better perform the work to which You call us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, help us to see the opportunities in which we may serve for the blessings of others.

Dear Lord, help us to know when we are called to listen, to learn, and to serve.

Dear Lord, we trust in You and all in which You guide us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us with the wisdom by which we may help accomplish Your will.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us wisdom, understanding, and inspiration as we listen to and reflect upon Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, help us to learn from Your wisdom and apply its blessings with all who surround us.

Dear Lord, as we frantically tend to the affairs of the world, busy with many things; help us to pause, pray, reflect, discern, and then, act upon all which You teach and the service to which You call us.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall follow His voice. Heavenly Father, so that we might help accomplish Your will, You have given us the wisdom of Your Word. We rejoice in all the blessings we may share through the power of its truth. Help us to know the time in which You call us to learn and the time in which You call us to put what You teach into action. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
