To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We Shall Be Led to His Narrow Path

Let us pray that we shall be led to the path which shall bring us to the kingdom of God. Heavenly Father, Your Holy Son instructed us to strive to enter by the narrow gate. The distractions of the world conspire to blind us. We pray You will help us to see the path You desire we should walk so, along the way, we may hold the hand of the One You sent for our salvation and who will lead us to You. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, help us to see and expunge the darkness and evil within our hearts.

Dear Lord, guide us in the ways we may help bring wandering and confused hearts to You.

Dear Lord, enable within our hearts the self-discipline and desire to learn and do what is right and just.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for those You send to teach us the blessings of living according to Your commandments and Your ways of love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help parents learn Your ways so they may teach their children so that their children may in turn, assume the vocations to which You call them and may so teach and encourage the youth of generations to come.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us leaders who will do what is right and just and who will lead the people in all which is right and just so that hearts shall be opened to You so Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us and help us to follow Your narrow path.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall learn the ways of the Lord. Heavenly Father, the world is such a confusing place for us with many temptations, seductions, and injustices. We pray You will help every heart see the path to which You call them so that the burdens of the world may be lifted from their shoulders and they may receive the blessings of Your eternal love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
