To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We Are Led to Our Heavenly Father's Embrace

Let us pray we shall be found and delivered from hopeless wandering. Heavenly Father, the evil one lays before us many deceptions to distract us away from Your Truth and that which You ask of us. We pray You will send Your Holy Spirit to guide us home to You. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for the times we have rejected Your truth.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us wisdom and understanding by which we may recognize the snares of deceit and by which we may discern Your Holy Truth.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for the arrogance of our ignorance.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for Your great patience and mercy.

Dear Lord, we cry out as lost sheep that You shall carry us home.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the good shepherds You send to gather us in.

Dear Lord, as we find the path of Your Truth, we pray You will help us to become a light for others to follow.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be led to the path by which He shall lead us home. Heavenly Father, too often we are tempted to believe our ways are better than Your ways. Too easily we are deceived such that we are lured away from the path You desire us to walk. Though we are unworthy, we pray You will guide us to the one true path which shall bring us to Your embrace. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
