It is so simple, yet so complicated for us to understand. We are but infants attempting to understand the grace of our Lord. It is in His word we find salvation. By our focus on the word, we push away the evil one. By our actions, we demonstrate our understanding of the word and His grace. We are presented the word by the clergy, the church, the layman; but do we understand the truth? We hear from the priests, and preachers, we read many books; yet we are told to beware of the false prophets – so we must learn, we must discern, we must pray for wisdom and understanding of the word.
