Many blessings to all,
Through the Word, God has given us the path to peace in our day; but to benefit from the Word, we must live according to the Word. Jesus commanded us to love one another and then told us we should not judge each other; through those words of wisdom, we are guided to help each other and guided away from the conflicts which arise when we do the opposite.
If the Word is before us, then, we might ask why do we see such challenges as we see in the world today? The conflicts of the world come as we, either through what we do or as the result of the actions of others, corrupt what God has intended for us. We are called to live as examples of the Word and should we choose, we, then, contribute to the possibilities of peace within our day.
We cannot, by ourselves, solve all the strife of the world; but what we chose to do or chose not to do becomes one example for others to see. The path to peace within our day, then, starts with each of us. If we chose to follow the Word and others are motivated by our example, then, we invite others to the path. The more who follow the path shifts the momentum from conflict to peace. Through prayer, we learn to make the decisions God asks of us.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, grant me the wisdom and strength to be an example of your Word.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help me to avoid the temptation to judge where You have taught us we should not judge.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help me to respond in love towards all who enter my life.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help me to reach out to those in need.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, grant me the wisdom and strength to forgive where you have taught us we should forgive.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, help me to live such that what I do brings help and not harm.
A simple prayer: Dear Lord, should I fail today to live according to Your Word, help me to try harder tomorrow.

“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” John 16:33
