To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers to Uphold the Fabric of Families

Let us pray in thanks for the blessings of families. Heavenly Father, You made us as man and woman so that in the union of two in one flesh, the generations may spawn. You made us to join as families, so that we might nurture and care for one another and share the blessings of love. We pray that You guide us so that as communities and nations, we protect the blessings of our families and share throughout the world the love You intend to be known by all the children of Your creation. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray for fathers and mothers, that You guide them in how to provide a healthy environment in which their children may learn and grow.

Dear Lord, we pray for fathers and mothers, that You guide them in how they may share with their children the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray for fathers and mothers who have children with special needs; bless these parents so they may understand the joy of providing the love You intended.

Dear Lord, we pray for fathers and mothers, that You help them feel the blessing of every child with which You bless them, especially as the child grows within the womb.

Dear Lord, we pray for families, that You will guide them to the blessings of love for one another.

Dear Lord, we pray for children, that they will be drawn to the blessings of learning Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You grant strength and courage to us all to turn away from the temptations of evil and that You guide us to everlasting peace.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we walk our daily journey, we remember and respect the parents from which we came into the world. We pray you help us understand that You have granted to each one of us the power to combat evil through the blessings of love. Heavenly Father, You formed us so that man and woman would join to protect their children as each child matures from conception until the child can assume the vocation to which You call them. We pray you guide us to the plan You have for us and help us to preserve the blessing which families should share with one another. We pray that You give us the strength and courage to set aside selfishness and share with one another the blessings of charity and love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
