For Our Good Friend Rob

Greetings:

Blessings to all who see these words, we wish to proclaim the blessings God gave us through our good friend Rob. He was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior as well as the children of God. Rob was dedicated to helping wandering and curious souls to find their path to the one true God. He impacted many, and yet, he always sought to help more â€“ blessed is he for living and giving the Word of God.

We request prayers for our good friend Rob who the Lord invited home while Rob was in his sleep.

Our Heavenly Father, we are saddened when a good friend departs our home, but we are happy when we know that You have invited that friend to Yours.

As you hold our dear friend Rob in Your warm embrace, we hope you will whisper into his ear, â€œYou have fought the good fight, you have kept the faith. Though there is much work to be done for the salvation of the souls of all my children, you have truly done your part, you have invited many to my table, you have helped them understand My Word, you have set the example for others to follow; but now it is time to pass the baton, it is time for you to walk the streets of my kingdom, it is time to know your true home. Well done faithful servant, well done; for the legacy you leave to the world lives on through all those you have guided towards the light and sacraments of the church I entrusted to Peter, well done.â€

We know our dear friend is in Your perfect care; blessed is he who follows in Your name.
