In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw how good the light was. God then separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” Thus evening came, and morning followed--the first day. (Genesis 1:1-5)
Exactly how God created the heavens and the earth remains a mystery to mankind, though many theories abound. The evidence some uncover is believed to be explanation that God does not exist, though man cannot explain completely that which they see. The theories which exist have many gaps to the point it requires more faith to believe that all in this world and the universe which surrounds it exists by mere accident and has no intelligent design than to believe the inspired Word of God.
The Word was not given to us to explain science, but to guide us in how we should live. For what reason some wish to deny the existence of God is known only to them. For others, they believe in the existence of God, but they choose to follow another. Blessed are those who know God and seek Him, for they will find the path to His house.
After making the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret and tied up there. As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him. They scurried about the surrounding country and began to bring in the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak; and as many as touched it were healed. (Mark 6:53-56)
Those who sought Him could not seek His healing if they first did not believe in Him. They followed Him first through what they had been told, but later for what they had seen. Their faith was such that they only need touch Him and their afflictions were removed. The sick were healed, the blind were made to see, the deaf were made to hear; but those truly healed were those who understood their sin and sought His forgiveness.
Through the ages, men have argued over their beliefs, great divisions have been caused, wars have been fought. Just as God was not pleased when Cain spilled the blood of Abel, so He is throughout all the violence of one against another. None of the conflicts are pleasing to God, for He desires peace among His children. For this reason, He sent His only begotten Son to give us a new covenant and a new commandment to love one another.

Good is the night!
You know what brother, I admire your faith in God. The book of Genesis provides information on how God made the universe, the earth, the animals and the first people (Adam and Eve). And you are exactly right that lost people now are using their clever and brilliant mind of questioning God and the contents of the Bible. Be calm if ever that you will encounter people who don\'t believe. Stick in your beliefs and let God guide you.
