To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers for the Future God Desires for Us

Let us pray we are guided to the future which God desires for us. Heavenly Father, as we look at our days past, we see so many times where we allowed the world to distract us from the course You desire for us. We pray You will guide our hearts with all truth and help us to do what You ask of us so we may prepare for the day You gather in Your flock. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, help us to see that for which we must prepare.

Dear Lord, help us to set aside that which is vanity and folly.

Dear Lord, help us to see the consequences of our choices so we are better enabled to do what is right and just.

Dear Lord, help us to see one another, not by title, position, or attribute, but by the love which You encourage within our hearts.

Dear Lord, help us to see what we place ahead of You, so we may move such obstacles from our path.

Dear Lord, help us to follow Your Light to the path for which You created us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will fill us with all the blessings of Your love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall see the path to which we are called. Heavenly Father, You created us unique, each with a set of gifts and talents through which we may share blessings and help accomplish Your will. Dear Lord, help us to understand the gifts and talents You have placed within our stewardship and the purpose to which You desire they shall be put, so that Your will may be done. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
