It is like that to be in the embrace of God. There is nothing greater than to feel the peace and contentment of the Lord. There is no drug, no pleasure that can hope to be even a fraction of God's peace. Pray then to know God's peace, to feel His embrace. Why do we feel pain? Why does God allow us to suffer? Would we understand pleasure if we did not understand pain? But, then, do we consider that we may be the cause of our own pain?
