Simple Prayers of Prayer Soldier â€“ Vol 39 (Messengers of the Word)

Many messengers has God sent; angels, prophets, apostles and priests, but as we receive the Word, God calls us to spread the Word. Through all the challenges and all the struggles of man, the message of God is one of love for his children and the desire His children share their love among one another.

The messengers have been many, but the message has been the same. It is the children of God who have struggled to understand the message. The reasons are many, to include the efforts of the evil one to corrupt the Word to separate the children of God from their creator. And so, God sent His only begotten Son.

He reaches to us in many ways, but He also attempts to reach us through each other. It is for this reason we have been given the Word and are asked to spread the Word. Through prayer, we may ask for wisdom to understand the Word, for discernment to see through deception, but we should also ask for the strength and courage that we too may be messengers of the Word of God.

Dear Lord, we offer thanks and praise that You sent Your apostles to spread Your Word, seeking to bring the peace of Your love to the generations.

Dear Lord, we offer thanks and praise for the love you extend to all Your children.

Dear Lord, we pray that the hearts of those who struggle with discerning the truth are filled with the Holy Spirit so that they are able to see through deception.

Dear Lord, we pray that You grant us the wisdom of the Holy Spirit that we are not deceived by deceptions wrapped in good intentions.

Dear Lord, we pray that the deceptions of the culture of death are revealed so that all the people of the land are guided to the respect of life.

Dear Lord, though we are not worthy through our sin, we pray in thanks for Your forgiveness.

Dear Lord, we pray that You grant us the courage to spread Your Word in what we say and what we do so that all Your children will come together in peace and love.
