A prayer to our Lord and Savior in memory of my mother
Dear Lord, my heart aches because I miss my mother so, but I am comforted because she is in your loving embrace; for if she knows Your peace and love, what more could I ever ask for her. Thank you Lord for taking care of my mother, a wonderful angel of Your creation. I know she is in peace because she loves you so. I know You have always been with her as You are with me, but now she is comforted ever more by the place You have made for her to be forever with You. I pray in thanks and praise for the commandments of love You have given us, for through love of You and one another, all things are possible. And please Lord, the next time You give my mother a hug, please give her an extra hug for me and whisper my love to her. In the name of Your Son, Jesus, who lives and reigns with You for ever and ever, I pray. Amen.
