To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers in Thanks for the Holy Spirit

Let us pray in thanks for the blessings of the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, as You called Your Son to sit at Your right hand, He promised He would send us an advocate who would remain with us and to guide us in the truth of Your Word. We pray in thanks and praise for the blessings You have sent to us through this advocate, the One breathed upon the disciples by our Lord and Savior. We pray the Holy Spirit will descend upon every heart so that all may understand the truth of Your Word. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the sound from heaven which brings to us the good news of the Lord.

Dear Lord, we pray in awe of the power of Your glory and the grace through which all the children of Your creation may receive Your blessings.

Dear Lord, we pray that one day all will come together to assume the place You intended for them within the body of Your one and holy church.

Dear Lord, as You breathed the Holy Spirit upon Your disciples so they may speak in native tongues so that all might understand, we pray the world may hear and understand the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise that You rose to conquer death and sent Your disciples to spread the good news for those who believe in You.

Dear Lord, we invite the Holy Spirit within us so that we may share the blessings of the one body of Your creation.

Dear Lord, we pray that no matter the agenda of anyone who translates Your scripture or preaches Your Word, that the Holy Spirit will allow us to see the truth, the light and the way to You.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we walk our daily journey, we may be guided by the blessings of the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, there are many deceptions within the world and many false paths. We pray that we are guided by the Holy Spirit so that we may know how to share of our gifts and talents to fulfill Your commandments to love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
