Prayers In Thanks for the Food of Eternal Life

Let us pray that as we face the challenges of life within this world, God will strengthen us. Heavenly Father, You sent us Your only begotten Son so He may become for us the food of eternal life. We lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for this and all the blessings You give. We pray that every ear might hear so all may share in the good news of eternal life which You offer. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the instruction of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, help us to see, discern, and share the blessings Your offer through Your commandments.

Dear Lord, help us to teach the children of our generation the blessings of Your Word so they may also share with the children of the generations to come.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent who sacrificed Himself in atonement for our sins.

Dear Lord, we humbly offer our thanks and praise for what was done for our redemption and our salvation.

Dear Lord, we offer thanks, for though we are not worthy, You invite us to Your table.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to encourage one another to share in the blessings of Your life giving feast.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be nourished by the eternal food of heaven. Heavenly Father, so that we might not perish for our sins, You sent to us the food of eternal life. We pray You will accept our humble thanks for Your great grace and mercy. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
