To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers In Thanks For the Bread of Our Salvation

Let us pray in thanks and praise for the bread sent to us from Heaven. Heavenly Father, You provided the bread to nourish those whom You freed from slavery. In compassion for all the children of Your creation, You sent Your Son to be the food and drink of eternal life. We pray that all might hear and come to receive the blessings of the banquet of Your table. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, as You provided the manna to those who wandered, help us to find the food from heaven such that we will never hunger or thirst again.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for Your patience with us and the many chances You give to find and remain on Your path.

Dear Lord, grant us wisdom and understanding of the blessings of Your Word so we may not be blinded by the illusions of the evil one.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the forgiveness of our sins so that we may renew ourselves through the blessings of Your Son.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise that through Your Son, we receive the eternal nourishment for the soul.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the bread of life You sent from heaven.

Dear Lord, we pray that all may hear and come to receive the blessings of Your table.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we seek first to address the needs of our soul. Heavenly Father, we see the compassion of Your Son and the love He has for us such that He give of Himself to remove our hunger and thirst. We pray that all might know the blessings of the bread and drink which yields eternal life, the flesh and blood of our Lord and Savior. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
