To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers for the Strength of Selfless Love

Let us pray we may be granted the strength of selfless love. Heavenly Father, Your Son told us that the First among us would be the servant of all. And so it was, He sacrificed Himself in atonement for the sins of the whole world and across all the generations. He gave us the ultimate example of selfless love. We pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may share with one another the ways in which He called us to live; the ways of Your commandments of love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see the light of the world.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the One who sacrificed Himself in atonement for our sins.

Dear Lord, we pray every heart may be opened to what Your Son teaches.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the ways of the selfless heart.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the One You sent to guide our hearts.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us to our opportunities to minister for the blessings of others.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to minister to the generations.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall see the beacon which guides us on the selfless path. Heavenly Father, Your Son teaches that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. He provided the example of One who came, not to be served, but to serve. We pray that every heart may know and live the blessings of selfless love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
