To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;
Prayers for the Strength by which to Prepare Our Soul
Let us pray for the strength to prepare our souls. Heavenly Father, the evil one lies in wait for us with many temptations. In our weakness, we falter. We pray You will forgive us our failings and strengthen our hearts so we may turn away from evil and towards Your holy ways. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to do what is right and just for the children of Your creation.
Dear Lord, we pray You will guide every heart so none shall squander what You have promised.
Dear Lord, we pray You will teach us the blessing of Your ways and guide us in truth.
Dear Lord, we pray we will not be left alone in the face of evil, but that You will guide us in how we may escape its clutches.
Dear Lord, we pray every heart is guided in the ways we may live which are pleasing to You.
Dear Lord, help us to see past the anxiety of our days to the day we may receive Your embrace.
Dear Lord, guard us from the complacency through which we accept the ways of the world so we may focus our hearts, mind, and soul upon the blessing of Your ways.
For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will have the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may prepare for the coming of our Lord. Heavenly Father, we face many distractions and anxieties which are designed to distract us from the blessings You offer. We pray You will help us turn from worldly ways so that we may prepare for the day You will call us to You. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
May the peace and blessings of the Lord be with you always,
Prayer Soldier
