Prayers In Thanks for the Blessings of Family

Let us pray we may build the blessings of family so we may build the blessings of generations. Heavenly Father, You gave us the sacrament of matrimony so that a man and woman may come together in love and partnership to bring forth new life. We pray You will protect the foundation of the family so that all may walk in the light of love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the blessings of family.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide every heart in how we may share the blessings of familial love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide mothers and fathers in how they may open the hearts of their children to receive Your blessings.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide the hearts of children so they may see the blessings of loving and respecting their parents.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the love You share for all the children of Your creation.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the gift and blessings of family.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us so we may draw strength from our family and share the blessings of the love also found within.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will remember the responsibilities we have to contribute to the bond and love which God intended for families. Heavenly Father, You gave us the blessings of family so that as we share love within, we grow its strength. You also call us to extend that love to all who cross our path. We pray every heart may hear so we may all contribute to the blessings of family as it provides the foundation of generations. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
