To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers for What Profits the Soul

Let us pray we are not tempted to seek the ill gained profit which yields eternal loss. Heavenly Father, You call us to be responsible stewards of Your creation, as well as the gifts and talents You have created within us. We pray You will guide us to how we may be responsible stewards so that not our will, but Your will shall be done. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in what You desire we do with what You entrust to us.

Dear Lord, we pray we are protected from the temptations of greed so we do not seek the short term gain which only yields eternal loss.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to help and lift up the less fortunate.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide the hearts of our leaders so they may do what is right and just for Your flock.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable hearts to do for others as we would have others do for us.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the love shared by Your only begotten Son.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks for the forgiveness You offer for the times we have failed You as well as one another.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be responsible stewards of all which is entrusted to us. Heavenly Father, You created all which is good and call us to be stewards of that creation. We pray You will guide us in the ways we may accomplish what is right and just. Help us, dear Lord, bring Your ways, the ways of love, to the world. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
