To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you,
Prayers in Humility for God's Mercy
Let us pray for the mercy of God. Heavenly Father, we are tempted to look down upon others, overlooking our own faults while judging those we may not even know. We seek to justify ourselves by the ways of the world and our perceptions of what we believe to be noble, but in truth, only You can lead us away from our failings so we might fully experience the blessings You offer. We humbly pray, dear Lord, You will not look upon our sin, but grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength to turn away from temptation so we may do what is right and just according to Your will. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Lord, pray You will guide our hearts so we may engage all we encounter with the humility and civility to which You call us.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the blessings of Your great mercy.
Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may respond to those who surround us with humility, civility, dignity, and respect.
Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to turn away from temptation.
Dear Lord, help us to see the true path of righteousness so we may avoid the woeful path of self-righteousness.
Dear Lord, though we are not worthy, we pray Your great mercy shall flow over us.
Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the forgiveness which You offer.
For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall avoid the temptations of self-righteousness and judgmentalism. Heavenly Father, we often fail to observe our faults or the harms we cause. Help us, dear Lord, to examine our behaviors and mend our faults so that rather than approaching others with self-righteous judgment, we may encourage all we encounter with Your blessing so that we may all inherit Your blessing. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
May the peace and blessings of the Lord be with you always,
Prayer Soldier
