To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;
Prayers His Light Shall Shine Through Us
Let us pray God will form us so His light shall shine through us. Heavenly Father, You sent Your only begotten Son as the light to the world. All that He teaches is a lamp for our heart and a light for our path. We pray You will guide us in the ways we may spread that light so that every heart may receive and share of its warmth. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Lord, help us to observe the means by which we may help others.
Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the means by which we may remove oppression, false accusation, and malicious speech.
Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the means by which we may help spread the light of righteousness.
Dear Lord, help us to set aside the confusion of human wisdom so we may live the wisdom of Your Holy Word and Divine Truth.
Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us a multitude of good shepherds who will spread the light of Your Word.
Dear Lord, we pray You will help us turn from the darkness of selfishness and enkindle within us a selfless spirit through which Your light shall continue to shine throughout the world.
Dear Lord, enable us to care for and encourage the less fortunate so that they may in turn be in the position to care for others in need.
For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall allow His light to shine through us. Heavenly Father, it is through our sin that darkness spreads. We pray You will enkindle within us the righteous light so that we may share with others its warmth and so it may be a beacon which encourages others to walk with us away from the darkness. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
