Simple Prayers of Prayer Soldier â€“ Vol 31 (Treasure in Love)

Prayer-Soldier

Many blessings to all,

For some, treasure is the wealth which can be accumulated within a bank account. To others, treasure may take the form of gold, silver, diamonds or any number of material things. Though we are led to believe that such treasures are the source of happiness, so much do they add to our worries, for we must look after that which is fleeting and can be easily taken from us. Blessed are those who find their treasure in the love of God, for His love is limitless and it forever surrounds us. Blessed are those who find their treasure in the love of one another, for as love is given without condition, it pushes away that which drives conflict, hate and the great sorrows of people. When we find our treasure in love, it is pleasing to God, for through love of one another, we care for His creation.

Dear Lord, We thank You for the love You hold special for each one of Your children.

Dear Lord, help us to live in love of one another as You love us.

Dear Lord, grant us the wisdom to recognize the evil which lures us to hate.

Dear Lord, grant us the strength to be an example of Your love.

Dear Lord, help us to be an example to others that they will see the value of love over hate.

Dear Lord, help us to find our true treasure through Your commandments to love.

Dear Lord, no greater love has man seen than the love You gave the world through Your Son; praise be the Lord.

In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. (Matthew 6:19-21)
