Please help me understand

I was told to pray to someone elses guardian angel... Asking to help them.. How would I go about that?

Dear Vee,

Praying to a guardian angel for help is a form of intercessory prayer. It is like going to an older brother or sister to ask them to go to one of our parents to explain something for which we ask. It is the hope that through increased years of understanding and maturity our sibling will help our parent understand our need and why our parent should grant that for which we ask.

Intercessory prayer to a guardian angel is rather simple. Though we do not know the name of the guardian angel whose intercessory help we seek, we do know the name of the person for which we pray and the guardian angel certainly knows to whom God has given them to watch over.

Your prayer may start, â€œDear Guardian Angel of.....â€ and then explain your intention.

Honestly, the only guardian angel out there to pray to is God, Our Father in Heaven. We may have loved one\'s who have passed on and who may watch over us, but when we pray, it should only be to our Creator. And through him we can pray that our loved ones be sent to look after us. Anyway, have a great one!
