To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers He Will Lead Us in Truth

Let us pray that God will guide us in our understanding. Heavenly Father, there is so much of your creation of which we are unaware and do not comprehend. We make guesses and predictions from what we believe we know, but too often we are blinded by our ignorance and willful desires. We pray, dear Lord, You will open the eyes of our soul and grant us wisdom and understanding of Your holy truth along with its meaning to our journey. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see how we may fulfill that of which You ask of us.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the ways You call us to participate in Your creation.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see Your holy truth from which we may find the path of righteousness.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will open the eyes and ears of our heart so we may clearly understand what You ask of us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see the blessings we may share by living according to Your commandments.

Dear Lord, we pray in sorrow for where we have turned down the wrong path because we believed our ways were better than You ways.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the mercy and forgiveness You offer when we discover the error of our ways.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, the Holy Spirit will guide us in all truth. Heavenly Father, we pray in sorrow and ask Your forgiveness for the times we have turned from Your ways because of what we did not know, what we did not comprehend, and where we arrogantly believed that our ways were better than Your ways. We pray You will remove our ignorance and help us to see through those who endeavor to deceive. We pray You will raise up for us good shepherds who will lead us to the green pastures of Your holy truth. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
