To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We Are Prepared to Weather the Battle

Let us pray we may turn from the divisiveness of the world so we may become one in the body of Christ. Heavenly Father, You sent Your only begotten Son to separate us from the ways of our sin. When He returned to sit at Your right hand, You sent another advocate, the Holy Spirit, to remind us of all Your Holy Son taught and to guide us in all truth and what is right and just. We pray the Holy Spirit may enter every heart so that all may turn from the ways of the world and follow Your Son so we may receive Your great mercy; the mercy of love and forgiveness. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will protect us from deceitful lips.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the angels You send to protect us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us stand firm against the disruptions, deceptions, and designs of the evil one.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the Champion You sent for the salvation of our souls.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us leaders who will do what is right and just and who will lead the people in all which is right and just so that hearts might be opened to You and so that Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in how we might encourage one another in the keeping of Your commandments so that all might share the blessings of love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will lead us through our divisions so that we may unite as one in being with You as You are One in being with the Father.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall prepare ourselves to weather the battle for our souls. Heavenly Father, You sent Your Holy Son to gather in Your faithful. As He does, He will divide them from those who prefer the darkness to the blessings of Your Light. We pray You will guide us through the conflicts of our day and enable us to choose the path which shall bring us to Your heavenly kingdom. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
